Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Affinity Gameworks ("we", "us") collects through our games and this website, and what we do with it. The short version: our games don't collect personal information, and the only personal information we receive is what you choose to send us through the support form.
FAILSAFE
- No account, no personal information. FAILSAFE doesn't ask for your name, email, location or contacts, and we don't receive any information about you from it.
- Your progress stays on your device. Saves and settings are stored in the game's private storage on your phone. Android may include them in your device backup to your Google account if you have backup turned on; that's handled by Google under its own privacy policy, and we can't see it.
- Arena images. If you choose a picture from your gallery as the arena background, the game keeps a resized copy in its private storage to draw it. The picture never leaves your device, and choosing "Arena image off" deletes the copy. The game uses Android's photo picker, so it never gets access to the rest of your photos.
- No ads, analytics or tracking. The game contains no advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs and doesn't use an advertising ID.
- Our game engine. FAILSAFE is built with Unity. The Unity runtime may send Unity Technologies limited, non-identifying technical information about your device (such as its model, OS version and graphics hardware). See Unity's player privacy policy.
- Google Play. If you've agreed to share usage and diagnostics with app developers, Google Play may give us anonymous crash reports and aggregate statistics. These don't identify you.
This website and the support form
- What we collect. When you use the support form we receive the name, email address, game, device and message you enter, plus the IP address you sent it from and the time.
- Why. To read and answer your message, fix the problem you report, and keep the form free of abuse. We don't use it for marketing and we never sell or share it, except with the providers that host this site and deliver its email (Amazon Web Services), who process it only on our behalf.
- How long. We keep support messages for up to 24 months after the conversation ends, then delete them. You can ask us to delete yours sooner.
- Cookies. The site sets a single security cookie that protects the support form from forgery. There are no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
- Server logs. Like any web server, ours briefly logs requests (IP address, page, time and browser) to keep the site running and secure.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Send a request through the support form with the topic "Privacy or data request". Because our games don't collect personal information, there's normally nothing held about you beyond any support messages you've sent.
Children
Our games don't collect personal information from anyone, including children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through the support form, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If our games or this site start handling information differently (for example, if a game adds online features or ads), we'll update this policy before the change ships and change the date at the top.
